Membership Types and Eligibility

Active Member Associate Member International Member
Any individual engaged in providing flight or ground-based medical transport, paramedical or rescue services to ill or injured patients. Voting privileges apply.

New or expired Active and Associate Memberships: $80; Renewals: $65
Three-year and lifetime membership options available.
Any individual interested in advanced practice paramedicine, who is not eligible for an Active Membership. Voting privileges do not apply.

New or expired Active and Associate Memberships: $80; Renewals: $60 Three-year and lifetime membership options available.
Any individual engaged in providing flight or ground-based medical transport, paramedical or rescue services to ill or injured patients and whose permanent address is outside the United States. Voting privileges apply.

New members and renewals: $65.

Active Community Paramedic Member  International - Developing Country  (IDC) Member

Any individual engaged in providing community paramedic services in rural or urban communities through a hospital-based, municipality or private service organization.

Voting privileges apply.


New or expired Active and Associate Memberships: $80; Renewals: $65
Three-year and lifetime membership options available.
An active member is a credentialed paramedic or military medic engaged in the business of providing treatment or transport to ill or injured patients by land, air, or
sea as a critical care or “advanced practice” or community paramedic.

The IAFCCP welcomes paramedics living and practicing in developing countries. 

Members joining at the IDC rate of $35 USD, will receive all the rights and privileges of an active member including voting privileges.  However, IDC members will not receive a printed copy of the Air Medical Journal.  Access to the Air Medical Journal is available via the Internet.

To qualify for the IDC rate, the member must have a permanent address in a developing country.  List of qualifying countries available when selecting the International Developing Country Membership.

 Active Military Member

Any individual on active duty in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, who provides air or ground medical transport for ill or injured patients and/or provides medical, paramedical or rescue services for military operations.  Voting privileges apply.

New or expired Military Membership: $65
