HR 3378 The Ensuring Access to Air Ambulance Services Act of 2017 0 M. Newman The legislation which updates Medicare reimbursement for emergency air medical services, is finally here. It was introduced by Rep. Jackie Walorski. Here is Walorski’s press release with more info on the bill, and here is SOAR’s statement of support.  AAMS also supports this legislation saying, the bill will introduce transparency into the costs of providing air medical transport, increase quality by providing enhanced incentives for high-performance services, and, most importantly, preserve the long-term sustainability of air medical transport services for the millions of Americans who rely on us as their sole means to access healthcare.
